Here is a 9x12-inch acrylic painting done in October 2019 on a Greek island near Turkey.  I painted from a path leading to a chapel, which is behind the viewer.  A kind girl visiting the chapel brought me a bottle of water to drink.

The left hand gate leads down to the road which is out of sight.  The road winds by the white buildings.  The jumble of stuff in the middle ground is really an old cottage in ruins.  It was a pile of old ladders, concrete and stone walls with wooden palettes on end.
